We specialize in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete residential interiors with a strong focus on design quality, execution excellence, and customer satisfaction. We are expanding our Shivamogga team and looking for a passionate Interior Designer who can handle design, client interaction, and coordination from concept to execution.
Job Summary
As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically appealing interior designs for residential projects, working closely with clients, design teams, and execution teams. The role requires strong design skills, client handling ability, and practical site knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle needs, and budgets
- Prepare space planning, concept designs, and detailed layouts
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations for client presentations
- Finalize material specifications, finishes, and design details
Client Interaction
- Conduct client meetings and design discussions
- Present design concepts clearly and confidently
- Incorporate client feedback and finalize designs within timelines
- Ensure a smooth design approval process
Execution & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and site teams
- Assist in execution planning and resolve design-related site queries
- Ensure design intent is maintained during execution
- Visit sites as required for coordination and reviews
Brand & Process Compliance
- Follow HomeLane design standards and processes
- Maintain proper documentation and version control
- Ensure timely handover of drawings and design files
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in residential interior design
- Experience in modular kitchens and wardrobes preferred
- Prior experience with HomeLane / Livspace / similar brands is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Working knowledge of SketchUp / 3Ds Max / V-Ray
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation tools
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Client-centric mindset
- Good coordination and teamwork abilities
- Time management and problem-solving skills
